On Tuesday morning, Tommy Marren talked to Martina Burke from Castlebar who told him how she has home-schooled her ten children from junior infants all the way to Leaving Cert since herself and her husband decided that State schooling was not for their children. Since then they have converted a room in their garage into a classroom, and Martina told Midwest Radio that it is a parent's responsibility for how their child develops and should not be left up to others.
