Young Charlie Gray had an eventful twenty-four hours recently as he volunteered to help keep the beaches around Louisburgh in their usual pristine condition. The five year old was on hand with his mother to help the "Keep Our Beaches Clean" campaign as they made sure that Carrowmore and Old Head beaches were restored to their magnificent best. Unfortunately there are people out there that are far, far less scrupulous than young Charlie and his scooter that he had brought to the beach with him was taken while he was helping the rest of the volunteers. 

The next morning though, Charlie was smiling again thanks to the generosity of the community. Listen back to Louise Hastings tell the story now and be sure to do as Charlie does, and "Keep Our Beaches Clean"!
