We awoke to the very sad news on Tuesday the 17th of April, that the great Tom McBride, or Big Tom as he was known to his legions of fans and admirers across Ireland, the United Kingdom, Europe, and indeed the whole world. 

On the #MidMorningShow with Paul and Gerry this morning they looked back on the life and times of the man himself with contributions from one of his oldest friends, Margo, Ryan Tubridy and our own Michael Commins who had known the McBrides for over thirty years.
