Last Friday (March 23rd) in the Twin Trees Hotel, Ballina the Mayo Sports Partnership Girl's & Women in Sport Seminar took place. Our own Angelina Nugent was the MC on the morning and she chatted to Michaela Walsh (athletics), Gráinne Murphy (Swimming), Máiread Hopkins (Rugby), Sarah Rowe (Gaelic Games) & Fiona McHale (Gaelic Games) about their thoughts on women and girls in sport, how things can improve and much more.

Below is part of the panel discussion where the girls fielded questions from the audience on subjects such as nutrition and how female athletes are portrayed in the media, and the role of social media.
