The Association of Farm & Forestry Contractors in Ireland (FCI) have welcomed the decision by Minister Eoghan Murphy to introduce the slurry spreading flexibility scheme for autumn in recognition of the impact the weather has had on the country this year.
The FCI have urged all contractors to advise their customers who cannot spread slurry at the moment to avail of the flexibility scheme and to contact the Nitrates Section of the Dept of Agriculture, Food and Marine (DAFM) at 053 9163444 or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots.
