The attempt to ensure that Croagh Patrick remains a safe and welcoming mountain to climb has been ongoing for the past number of years since being described as the "worst-damaged pathway in the UK & Ireland" by a mountaineering expert back in 2013.
Today Angelina talked to Therese Staunton, of the Lecanvery Community Centre Committee, who have put forward a proposal for a new loop which will take some of the pressure off the Murrisk side of the mountain. Listen to the full chat below.
