I don't remember not ever knowing you, or indeed any of your crew.
From the black Beetle pulling into Mrs.Dunleavys, Howley's or Virginia's shop there was always one or some on board with you. It was always like that since Martin made his way on that fateful day, one that I remember so well too. It was part of the beginning of the Curry I knew ever changing and making its journey back for you.
For you were there at the head and the heartbeat of the Village, the post mistress, the financier the ledger books balancer. The Yay and the Nay and " The Lord, don't go astray" with a roll of your beady eye you would send us on our way. No nonsense and no excuses was your last say.
Your wisdom was precious to those who sought your counsel and we were sure that it would always be backed by a prayer for seeing you at daily Mass brought great comfort as well.
Your crew may be gladdened for they could have done no more. And the rest of us well our hearts are sore.
Sallie was a great Neighbour and friend. May Sallie Rest in Peace.
Deepest sympathy to the Burke family and extended families on her sad passing
May she rest in peace
May she rest in peace.
May Sallie Rest in Peace with the Angels
