Kathleen and Dermot
MacDermott RIP pub was the great meeting place in Glenamaddy at weekends for the returning locals from Galway and other places of work. It was a place of welcome and Kathleen and Dermot as hosts were always gracious and generous to all that entered their Public Bar and Lounge.
Glenamaddy was a destination to be in and the likes of Kathleen and Dermot made it so. Kathleen I’m thinking would be the last of the publicans from that era to pass.
Thank you for the great memories.
Rest In Peace Kathleen.
May she rest in peace
