Condolences on the passing of your Dad James, may he rest in peace
It was with much sadness I learned of the death of our colleague Jim Friel. He was a decent and honourable person who brought much credit to the Garda Siochana and to the Garda Siochana Retired Members Association (GSRMA). I am deeply indebted to our late colleague for his work on behalf of retired Gardai in Mayo and further afield. Much of this went unnoticed; this was in keeping with Jim's way of working for the benefit of others. I extend my sincere condolences and that my colleagues in the GSRMA to Jim's wife Anne, his children Declan, Eithne, Deirde, Fergus, Aoife, the exended family, and colleagues in the Ballina branch of GSRMA. Ar dheis Dè go raibh a anam dìlis.

President GSRMA
