Predeceased by her parents Joe and Brigid Higgins, her brothers John, Joseph and Peter and sister Margaret (Mags).

Máirín will be sadly missed by her brothers Paul and Brian, sisters Anne, Bernadette, Kathleen, Grace and Roisín, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing in Navin's Funeral Home, Westport (F28 XR61) on Friday evening January 5th from 5 o’clock until 6 o’clock.

Cremation will take place on Saturday January 6th in Shannon Crematorium at 1 o’clock.

I was very fortunate to have worked for/with Máirín for almost 14 years. She really was a determined and inspirational lady, certainly someone you would want in your corner if you were in bother.
