Derryherbert, Liscarney, Westport, Co. Mayo and formerly of Roscahill, Kilmeena, Westport (December 16th 2023).
Predeceased by her parents Joe and Brigid Higgins, her brothers John, Joseph and Peter and sister Margaret (Mags).
Máirín will be sadly missed by her brothers Paul and Brian, sisters Anne, Bernadette, Kathleen, Grace and Roisín, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Reposing in Navin's Funeral Home, Westport (F28 XR61) on Friday evening January 5th from 5 o’clock until 6 o’clock.
Cremation will take place on Saturday January 6th in Shannon Crematorium at 1 o’clock.

Mairin was a tremendous asset to the Safe Home Ireland project and was our very first CEO. Mairin will be long remembered by me with great thanks and affection for her friendship and major contribution to the Safe Home Ireland project.
