Park Road, Swinford, Co. Mayo - peacefully on 4th August 2023.

Predeceased by his wife Attracta (nee Maye), baby daughter Mary, brother Brian and sisters Mary Lord and Bridge Taggart.

R.I.P.

Dearly loved father to Anthony, Pat, Margie, Marie, James, Joseph and Attracta, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law. Fondly remembered by his brothers Jack and Tony and sisters Kathleen, Lena and Ursula. Forever loved by his 23 adored and cherished grandchildren and his 8 great grandchildren. Padraic will be sadly missed by all his relations, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Campbell's Funeral Home, Swinford (F12YE00) on Sunday 6th August from 4pm until 7pm.

Padraic's Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, 7th August at 12 noon in the Church of our Lady Help of Christians, Swinford prior to burial in Kilconduff cemetery.

House strictly private please.

Nineteen years ago today Padraic was instrumental in organizing the first of many Gavin family reunions. We told Padraic our son Thomas Gavin Porth would be celebrating his 10th birthday that day. Padraic made a big fuss over him, sang Happy Birthday, and gave him a Mayo jersey. It’s the type of warm welcome he unfailingly extended to all us Yanks. We loved him and were so very proud to be part of the family.
We will miss you, Padraic, but know you are in peace with your God and your beloved Attracta.
