Thomas (Tom) Flanagan Knockalaghta, Ballintubber, Co. Roscommon on July 30th 2023, peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of Portiuncula Hospital and in the presence of his loving family.
Sadly missed and remembered by his devoted wife Catherine (Kathleen), children Elaine (Dublin), Brian (Knockalaghta), Patricia (Dublin), Maria (Limerick) and Mark (Dublin), son-in-law Mick, daughters-in-law Karen and Lianna, Maria’s partner Paul, grandchildren, Rory, Niamh, Tomás, Cian, Lia and Heidi.
Fondly remembered and missed by his brothers & sisters, Mary (Mannion, Galway), Jimmie (Meath), Donal (Brisbane), Margaret (Egan, Roscommon), John (Knockalaghta) and Raymond (Longford), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his family home in Knockalaghta, Ballintubber, from 4pm until 8pm on Tuesday 1st August 2023.
Removal on Wednesday morning, 2nd August 2023, to St. Bride’s Church, Ballintubber (Eircode F45AK50) for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.
Followed by burial afterwards in Ballintubber Cemetery.
House private on morning of funeral.
The family would like to thank the staff of Aras Mhathair Phoil, Castlerea, for the wonderful and compassionate care afforded to Tom during his final months.
