Annie Davitt (née Barrett)
Derrycorrib, Barnatra, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully at her family home in her 97th Year surrounded by her loving family on 16th June 2023.
Predeceased by her husband Tony and her siblings Ned, Patrick, Mary, Úna, Sr. Collette, Sr. Margaret Ann and her recently deceased sister Bridget.
Beloved mother of Mary McAndrew (Binghamstown, Belmullet), Anthony (Derrycorrib), Margaret Cawley (Ballyscanlon, Crossmolina) and Eamon (Ballyheane, Castlebar) and cherished grandmother to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sons in law Seán and Billy, daughter in law Georgina, brothers Harry Barrett (Church Road, Belmullet) and John Barrett (Castlebar), sisters in law Breege and Mariolla, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Sunday evening from 5 o’clock until 7.30.
Funeral will arrive at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Glencastle on Monday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.
Live streaming of the Funeral Mass may be viewed on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page at 12 noon on Monday with all other funeral services available for viewing at 8 o’clock on Monday evening.
