Josephine (Josie) Swanick nee Rock,

Cloonaff, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Crenane, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon (June 14th, 2023) - peacefully at the Roscommon Hospice surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her husband John Francis and son-in-law Ray.

Loving mother of John (Moate) and Ann Marie Gill (Corlis, Castlerea).

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son and daughter, her adored grandson Kieran and daughter-in-law Suzanne.

Also by her sisters Maureen Philips (Ballaghaderreen), Geraldine (Scotland), Eileen McDermott (Ballaghaderreen), Phil Murtagh (Swinford) and Breege Moore (Castlebar), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea on Friday evening from 5pm until 7pm with removal at 7.15 to St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Castlerea.
