Mary Horkan née Canney,
Cashel Park, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and formerly of Newcastle, Galway - peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the staff at Cuan Chaitríona Nursing Home, Castlebar on 11th February 2023.
Predeceased by her sister Margaret, and sadly missed by her sisters Kay, Leila and Helen, and her brothers Michael, Robert, Pat and Eamonn.
Mary, beloved wife of Edward (Eamon), adored mother of Paul, Sarah, Anne Marie, Eddie & Jane, treasured nanny of Shannon, Ruth, Gwen, Alex, Charlie, Aidan, Aoife, Orla, Dylan & Pippa. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sisters, brothers, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
Mary will be reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar on Monday from 5pm with removal at 7pm to her residence.
Removal on Tuesday morning from her residence at 10.45am for Funeral Mass at 11.30am in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.
Mary will be laid to rest afterwards at Castlebar New Cemetery.
