Margaret McConnell née Joyce

Shraugh, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo and formerly of Shanafarahan, Finny, Co. Galway. February 6th 2023: Peacefully at her home surrounded by her family in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband John and son John (Newbridge).

Deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters: Mary, Thomas, Theresa, Margaret, Martina, Seamus, Michael, and Anna, sisters Eileen, Julia, and Nora, her nineteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended Mc Connell & Joyce families, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Margaret will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Tuesday (Feb. 7th) from 6.00pm, concluding with evening prayer at 7.30pm.

Funeral cortége will depart her home on Wednesday morning at 11.15 to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh at 11.40 for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon, followed by interment in Kilgeever Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Mayo / Roscommon Hospice
