Pat O’Malley

Pat died suddenly at his Home.

Beloved husband of Marian and much loved father of Joane Byrne (Balla), Karen Ginnelly (Glenisland) and Pascal (Balla).

Deeply missed by his, sons-in-law Tom and Eamon, daughter-in-law Angelika, his cherished grandchildren Dean, Emma, Molly, Katie and Emily, his sisters Maureen (Westport), Margaret (Louisburgh) and Noreen (Westport), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives, great neighbours and friends.

May he Rest In Peace.

Pat’s remains will repose at the Balla Funeral Home on Tuesday evening (13th September) from 6pm until 8pm with removal afterwards to his home.

Remains will arrive to St. Cronin's Church, Balla on Wednesday for Funeral Mass at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Fond memories of growing up next door to Patrick Joe as he was affectionately always know to us. We played football as kids in Tom Toole' s field near the harbour. In later years I remember walking practically the whole way from Westport to Louisburgh after a dance on a beautiful June night. The sun was up & the birds were singing as we neared Louisburgh. We didn't meet much in later years, but I will always treasure our many childhood memories. Rest in peace Patrick Joe.
