Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family Mike and Jacky, Marayde and Neil, Laura and Edgar, Paul, Áine and Emma, Seán and Niamh, Kara, uncle Paul Ruane, aunts-in-law, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris (F12YP74) on Thursday evening (30th June) from 6p.m until 8p.m. Removal from his home on Friday (1st July) at 10.40a.m. to St Colman’s Church, Claremorris for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock with burial afterwards to St. Colman’s Cemetery via Main street and Station Road

Funeral mass will be live streamed on You Tube “Claremorris Church Live”  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXznV-Kn2sVij_zi3fZun6w  or listened to on local parish radio on 106f.m.

Kevin's death has put the community of Claremorran, and further afield into disarray.Kevin was a true FIRST CLASS respected gentleman. Claremorris have lost a tremendous and most popular man. Memories, which are ingraved in my mind, takes me back, to family gatherings, when going to O'Briens, where Kevin would Greet everyone fondly. His hospitality was unreal. He was gifted beyond words. Kevin was a wonderful conversationali st his knowledge of Current Affairs, football, Volleyball, tennis raceing, the list goes on.

I first became aware of Kevin through my father and his admiration for Kevin's sporting prowess and kind nature. Whenever I would frequent O'Brien's in later years Kevin would always enquire after my father as he would fondly reminisce about stories from bygone days. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to these stories. A true gentleman. May he rest in peace.
