Bunalty, Glenamoy, Ballina, Co. Mayo and formerly of Glenaugh, Belderrig - peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family in his 96th Year on 4th February 2022.
Beloved husband of Sarah (née McDonnell) and dear father of Anne McHale (Jimmy), Helena Sullivan (Pete), Mary Flannery (Patrick), Gerard (Brenda), Michael (Cathy) and John (Imelda), adored grandfather to all his grandchildren and dear brother to his only remaining sibling Tony Leneghan (Philadelphia, U.S.A.). Predeceased by his grandchild Matthew. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his heartbroken family, his nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.
Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Saturday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock with funeral arriving at St. Paul’s Church, Glenamoy at 8.30.
Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12 noon followed by burial in Glenamoy Cemetery.
May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
