Mai (Mary) O’Driscoll

Monereagh, Easkey, Co.Sligo - passed away peacefully after a short illness in the care of North West Hospice Sligo.

Predeceased by her husband Tom; brother-in-law Pat and sister-in-law Mary Anne. 

Deeply regretted by her daughter Margaret; son Sean; brother Micheál; sisters-in-law Sister Anne and Brid; daughter-in-law Ann Marie; grandchildren Caolan, Ava and Shauna; extended family and friends. 

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Dromore West on Monday for family and friends from 5:30pm, with removal at 6:30pm to St James‘s Church Easkey, arriving at 7.00pm.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. James’s Church Easkey on Tuesday morning at 12 o’clock followed by burial afterward in Kilglass cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed on churchTV.ie/easkey

How sad to learn of (Mai Sweeneys). Death. She and I were great friends way back in the 60 On our journeys from Ballycastle to Ballina. I have great memories of Mai and that era of life. She was an office assistant in Ideal Chicks in Ballina. She met her husband to be Garda Tom ODriscoll . They married and moved to Easkey in Co Sligo. I have some lovely memories of Mai and the late 50's. I was only a little gasurine then. Happy days and God Bless you Mai. RIP. .
