Broadhaven Heights, Belmullet and formerly of No.7 Barrack Street, Belmullet, Co. Mayo, - peacefully at his residence on 25thDecember 2021.
Predeceased by his parents Anthony and Ellen Murphy (Main Street, Belmullet), brother Chris, sisters Angela O’Sullivan, Annie Mai Flynn, Mary Leavey and Sal McAndrew and son in law Gerry Moran. Beloved husband of Bridie (née Donoghue) and dear father of Joe (Belmullet), Marie (Tiernaur, Mulranny), Denise (Belmullet), Vincent (Killarney, Co. Kerry), John (Castlebar), Helen (Kiltane, Bangor Erris) and Geraldine (Carne, Belmullet), brother Austin (Chicago, U.S.A.), grandchildren, great grandchildren, Daughters in law, son in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, colleagues from St. Brendan’s College, Belmullet and Belmullet Fire Station, neighbours and many friends.
Remains will repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Monday evening from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock with funeral arriving at the Sacred Heart Church, Belmullet at 7 o’clock.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 o’clock followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.
House will remain private for family and close friends.
