Michael Doherty,

late of Ballydavid, Athenry, Co. Galway and Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo - who passed away peacefully in Mayo University Hospital after a short illness on Sunday, 14^thNovember, 2021.

Predeceased by his parents Catherine and Michael, sisters Rita and Monica and his grandson Danny.

Michael will be missed by Stella, their son Karl and daughter Theresa (UK), grandchildren Titula, Phoebe, Danielle, Jade and Marcus (UK), brothers Noel, Henry and Gerry (Athenry), sisters Anne Higgins (Carnmore), Lilly Scahill (Corofin), Maureen Goddard and Patsy Wilsher (UK), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his many nieces, nephews and cousins and his wide circle of friends in Athenry and Ballyhaunis.

Reposing at Gavin’s Funeral Home, Ballyhaunis this Wednesday, 17^thNovember from 5pm with removal at 6.30pm to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry, H65VX67, arriving in Athenry at approximately 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Thursday, 18^thNovember at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry.

Mass will be live streamed on the Athenry parish webcam on HTTPS://www.churchmedia.tv/camera/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to on Parish radio 106.5fm.
