Michael Gaynor (better known as Mike)

Sunnyside, Queens, New York and formerly of Ballytrasna, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo 31^st July 2021. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and carers of the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Wilmington, North Carolina after a long illness bravely borne.

Predeceased by his father John, his sister Margaret, Joan and his brother Frank.

Mike will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family. Dearly loved son of Patty, brothers Sean and Tom (Ballinrobe), Noel (NY), Oliver (London), sisters Mary Snype (Strokestown, Co. Roscommon), Anne (Texas) and Teresa (Ballinrobe), brother-in-law Mike Snype (Strokestown) and sisters-in-law Ruth (NY), Martina (London), nephews and nieces John, Lorcan and Abbey (NY),Padraig, Sean and Aine (London), all his cousins, work colleagues and a wide circle of friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Funeral Mass will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Ballinrobe on Thursday 28^th October at 1 pm with burial afterwards in New Cemetery, Ballinrobe.
