Predeceased by his parents Robert and Teresa and his brother Bertie.
Beloved husband of Mary (née Lavelle) and dear father of Myles.
He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, devoted daughter in law Louise and adored grandchildren Mylo and Luke, sisters Bernie Rowe (Quay Street, Belmullet), Deb Sweeney (Chicago, U.S.A.) and Goretti Lavelle (Ardoone, Belmullet), brother T.J. Carey (Bangor Erris), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Remains will depart from the Family Home on Monday at 11.30, arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing at 12 noon, Monday on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page, with all other funeral services available for viewing after 8 O’Clock on Monday evening.
In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, Myles’s Funeral Mass will be for family, relatives, close friends and neighbours with a maximum of fifty percent of the church’s capacity in attendance at Funeral Mass.
For those who would like to pay their respects as the funeral cortege passes through the town and villages enroute to the church on Monday morning and to the cemetery later that afternoon, please stand in a socially distanced manner on the streets, roadsides, outside the church and cemetery, ensuring public health and safety is being upheld to the highest standard.
