Maspeth, Queens, New York and formerly of Binghamstown, Belmullet, Co. Mayo - peacefully on 20th September 2021.
Predeceased by his father Michael and brother Michael Gerard.
Beloved son of Mary (née Kerrigan) and dear brother of Seán (Castlebar), Breda (Piper, Binghamstown, Belmullet), Padraig (Kilkelly) and Anne Marie (Castlebar).
He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family – sisters-in-law Marie and Dolores, nieces Alanna and Roisín, nephews Jack, Lorcán, Paidí and Donnacha, his dear best friend David Caffery, aunts, uncles, relatives, many friends in the States of Pennsylvania and New York, neighbours and friends.
May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Mass of Remembrance will take place at St. Sebastian’s Church, 5802 Roosevelt Avenue, New York on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m.
Remains will lay in repose at the Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, 43-07 Queens Blvd., Sunnyside, New York, 11104 on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Funeral cortege will depart from the Cargo Section of Dublin International Airport on Sunday at 9 a.m.
Remains will lay in repose at his sister Breda's residence, Piper, Binghamstown, Belmullet (Eircode - F26V1F8) on Monday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m.
All attending must enter Piper via the turn opposite St. Joseph’s Church, Binghamstown and exit via Emlybeg South.
A one way system will be in place with traffic stewarts at each junction.
Funeral arriving at St. Brendan’s Church, Tirrane on Tuesday for Funeral Mass at 3 p.m. followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.
