Bartra, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo - peacefully at his residence surrounded by his wife and family.  

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Ciss and his brother Shane.

Paddy, former Sligo County Councillor beloved husband of Breege and loving father of Sinéad Clancy (Galway), Michelle (Strandhill), Marina (Enniscrone), Kathleen (Enniscrone), Paula (USA) and Aoife (Enniscrone).  

Sadly missed by his loving wife and daughters, brother Fr. Michael, sons-in-law Ken, Dave, Padraic and Paula’s partner Jason, grandchildren Rían, Ava, Holly, Jack and Emily, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock for family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina on Thursday evening from 6 o’clock until 7.30 for family, relatives and friends

Funeral cortege will leave his residence on Friday morning at 10.30 to The Church of Our Lady Assumed Into Heaven, Enniscrone arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am with the funeral proceeding to St. Patricks Cemetery, Kilglass.

Paddy was a fine gentlemen. On our first visit to the Enniscrone Golf Club, Paddy welcomed us and chatted with my wife Diane while I played the course. Every time I saw Paddy he also gave me a smile and firm handshake with a bit of humour to boot.My prayers and condolence!

I have fond memories of being on the Community Care Committee with Paddy many years ago. He made every meeting so much fun with his jokes and his quick wit.
