• GMIT Mayo will host a virtual Open Evening on Wednesday, 5 May, from 5pm to 8pm, for prospective students and their families, featuring live Q&A sessions, videos, and tours.

This online event will feature live-to-camera sessions with staff and students who will answer questions about the range of programmes on offer at the college.
Virtual visitors are invited to browse videos on all Mayo campus programmes, student supports and virtual tour of the historical campus itself which dates back to 1866.

Anne Donnelly, Student Services Officer, GMIT Mayo, says they have timed the event to coincide with the opening of the CAO change of mind facility, as this is a time when students are reassessing their options. It’s not just for Leaving Cert students. Anyone interested in undertaking a full time or part time course is invited to take part.

Interested participants are asked to register in advance on
