It's hoped some of staff in the Irish Ardcadia stores that are to close will be redeployed.
It was confirmed yesterday that 23 outlets across Britain and Ireland are to shut, as part of a restructuring arrangement.
Up to 100 staff in six Irish stores, including four in Dublin, face redundancy. One of the stores due to be impacted is Miss Selfridge in Galway.
But the Mandate trade union will meet Arcadia tomorrow to see if some can be deployed to other stores within the group, such as Miss Selfridge and Dorothy Perkins.
