    Following a bereavement in Ballyheane, this fixture scheduled for Sunday next is postponed.


    The opening round of the Mayo Super League takes place this weekend.


    The match between Kiltimagh/Knock United and Ballyheane which was scheduled for Sunday has been postponed due to a bereavement.

  • There are two games in the Elverys Sports Super League tonight.

    It’s second against fourth when Westport United host Manulla.

    Westport need to win to remain in touching distance of Castlebar Celtic at the top of the table.

    Celtic are also in action tonight and face 7th placed Ballyheane who are fighting off relegation.

    However, having won the Connacht Youth Cup recently Ballyheane will be brimming with confidence when they take to Celtic Park tonight.

    Celtic manager Michael McNicholas has been telling Midwest Sport that he knows it’s going to be another tough contest tonight.

  • The U18 Connaught Cup Final will be played at Milebush Park tomorrow evening at 6-30.

    Ballyheane and Manulla will compete to be crowned the underage champions of the province.

    Ballyheane postponed their Elverys Sports Super League tie against Ballina town and Manulla B postponed their Castlecourt Premier League tie against Swinford at the weekend, showing the importance of the competition to both clubs.
