Cross Celtic make appeal for new players

The Cross Celtic Football Club have made an appeal to anyone who may be interested in playing for the club to attend a meeting in Headford tomorrow night.
The club has experienced the full effect of emigration ahead of the new season and if they do not sign up extra players at Junior level, then they will not be able to enter a team into the League for this season.
Teams who intend to compete this season must be registered with the League by next week.
Officers of the club describe tomorrow night’s meeting in the Anglers Rest as make or break. It will get underway at 8.30pm.
