From the 1st March, the Urgent Care unit at Roscommon County Hospital will cater for children aged 5 and over.

In further positive news for the hospital, a new respiratory consultant has been appointed, and will take up the position next month.

The new CEO of hospitals in Galway and Roscommon Bill Maher confirmed the developments this week to Roscommon FG deputy Frank Feighan, who says it’s time now for everyone to work together to support the future development of the county hospital.
