This Sunday evening at 5 o clock, we will broadcast a special highlights programme from the 2012 Mayo Person of the Year and Mayo Meitheal Awards ceremony which will take place in the Burlington hotel in Dublin on Saturday Night, Febuary 4^th.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has been awarded the Mayo Person of the Year Award and the Meitheal winners go to the Landowners along the Great Western Greenway that runs from Westport to Achill.

The awards, run annually by Muintir Mhuigheo in Dublin will be presented at a Gala Awards dinner in the Burlington Hotel this Saturday evening.

It will be a special night for all, and we will bring that ceremony to you on Sunday, to share the celebrations with our listeners.
