Mayo pull off shock of the Championship against Cork

Mayo are through to the All-Ireland Semi-Finals after a thrilling game and great display today at Croke Park.

Mayo ran out 1-13 to 2-06 winners against the All-Ireland Champions.

Kevin McLoughlin got a first half goal for Mayo against the run of play and despite conceding a second Cork goal after that, Mayo seemed to be inspired.

They never looked back and trailed by two points at half time but came out with all guns blazing for the second half.

Cork missed many chances - even goal opportunities in that second half and the Mayo defence played very well.

Mayo now face Cork in the All-Ireland Semi-Final in Croke Park on August 21st.
