The Galway Minors are through to the All-Ireland Semi-Final after they defeated Cavan 1-09 to 0-9 in Pearse Park in Longford this afternoon.

Cavan had lead early on but Galway gradually eat into the lead to hold a 1-08 to 0-09 lead heading into the final three minutes.

They added another before the full time whistle to take the game on a 1-09 to 0-9 scoreline.

Shane Walsh had a super game for the Tribesmen today scoring many of their efforts.
