Westport Golf Club will host the Connacht qualifier of the 2017 Kings Cup this Saturday.

The International Kings Cup will stage four provincial qualifiers in its bid to find the best Irish team to take on the USA in a three day 54 hole Matchplay Tournament at the Nick Faldo designed Lough Erne Resort.

The event is structured similar to the Ryder Cup and was created just last year when the US Golf Challenge brought their leading 8 pairs across to Northern Ireland to compete in the first ever International Kings Cup.
