Unfortunately it was heartbreak for Golden gloves boxer Shane McIntyre of Belmullet who bowed out of the junior world championships in Kazakhstan. McIntyre fought coureageously and came from behind to take an 8-6 advantage in to the third round. McIntyre found the target with some solid shots going down the final stretch, but received public warning near the end of the frame, a penalty that handed Gor Jevelkyan his two point margin of victory.
