Roscommon Senior Football team to play two challlenge matches over the festive season

The Roscommon Senior Football team were serve up two Christmas Crackers in Kiltoom over the festive season.

Two challenge games are lined up against Meath next Saturday at 7pm, and against Kildare on Monday 2nd January at 2pm.

The games give supporters an opportunity to watch the management team of Kevin McStay and his selectors and new coaching team as they run the rule over the host of new and returning faces attempting to make the cut ahead of the FBD Connacht League and Allianz Division One League next year.

Admission to each game is 10 euro, with proceeds being split between the Team Training Fund and the Shalom Centre for Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation in Nairobi, Kenya.

The charity was founded in 2009 by Frenchpark native Fr Padraig Devine – a keen supporter of Roscommon football – himself a former footballer and county medal winner with Western Gaels GAA club.
