New GAA Centre of Excellence in Roscommon to be named after the late Dermot Earley

Roscommon GAA will honour Dermot Earley’s memory by naming their new Centre of Excellence in Runnabracken after him.

Widely regarded as the greatest footballer never to win an All-Ireland senior medal, Dermot Earley passed away in 2010 at the age of 62.

His family will be guests of honour at the naming ceremony which will take place in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone next Saturday evening at 8pm.
