Alicante in Spain is set to host a pro-am show later tonight, with 6 Irish boxers on the bill.

This is the first time Ireland will face Spain in an international amateur tournament and Claremorris native Joe Charles is in charge of the Irish side for the contest.

Over 1000 people are expected to attend the event later.

Top of the bill will be the meeting of Ireland’s TJ Wade against the boxer who beat Paddy Barnes in Rio.
