Portumna’s Johnny Kelly has been appointed as Roscommon’s new senior hurling manager.
Mr Kelly succeeds fellow Galway native Justin Campbell in the role after having steered Portumna to All-Ireland club successes.
He also managed the Galway U-21 team and Intermediate team, and was manager of Offaly club Coolderry.
Details of Johnny Kelly’s backroom team for the upcoming season have not yet been finalised.
Roscommon GAA has also confirmed that the Minor Hurling Manager Stephen Glennon has stepped down from his position to manage the Galway Senior Ladies Football team.
