The Ballyhaunis hurlers will return to Athleague next Sunday for the Intermediate hurling championship final replay, after playing out a draw yesterday with Ahascragh – Fohenagh.

After extra time, yesterday’s match finished Ballyhaunis 2-13, Ahascragh 0-19.

It was the third championship game in just 7 days for Ballyhaunis, and both sides will have to meet again to decide who goes forward to represent Connacht in the All-Ireland series.

The replay has now been fixed for next Sunday at 2pm in Athleague.
