A date for the replay of the Connacht Intermediate Hurling final has not yet been decided, following yesterday’s draw in Athleague.

Ballyhaunis and Ahascragh / Fohenagh drew after extra time, on a scoreline of Ballyhaunis 2-13, Ahascragh 0-19.

It was the third championship game in just 7 days for Ballyhaunis, and both sides will have to meet again to decide who goes forward to represent Connacht in the All-Ireland series.

While the replay was expected to be played next Saturday, Midwest Radio understands the game may not now go ahead that day – and we’re awaiting further details from the Connacht Council.
