Niall McGarry reaches deal with Mayo GAA over offer to help pay for commercial manager

Niall McGarry has confirmed that he has spoken to Mayo GAA about his offer of €10,000 towards the hiring of a commercial manager.
The Castlebar man who is behind joe.ie, sportsjoe.ie and her.ie, made the offer on Twitter on Tuesday night after it emerged that the County Board couldn’t afford to hire someone on a full-time basis.
He told Tommy Marren yesterday that he had offered the funds out of his own pocket because he believes it is the way forward for the county.
Mr McGarry tweeted last night that he had had a chat with Mayo GAA yesterday, the offer had been accepted and a new position would be created.
