Another busy weekend of Club Championship football in store in Mayo

A double header will take place this Sunday at Elverys MacHale Park in Castlebar with the county senior football championship semi-finals down for decision.
First up at 2 its Breaffy and Knockmore and then at 3.30 it will be the clash of Ballintubber and the reigning county champions Castlebar Mitchels.
Midwest Radio will carry full live commentary of both games with thanks to Treanlaur Catering.
Now, elsewhere this Saturday will see the Mayo Intermediate Championship semi-finals take place with both games pencilled in for 4 o’clock starts. Kiltimagh will meet Burrishoole in James Stephens Park while Ballinrobe will be the venue for the pairing of Shrule/Glencorrib and Westport.
The Mayo Junior C Football Championship final will take place on Sunday in Parke at 12 noon between Burrishoole and Kilmaine.
In Hurling, arch rivals and neighbours Tooreen and Ballyhaunis will once again go to battle in the Mayo senior hurling championship final this Sunday. The game starts at 3 o’clock in Tooreen.
Also this Sunday the Connacht Ladies Senior Football final will take place in Charlestown at 12.30 between Carnacon and Kiltubrid.
