The Central Hearings Committee will not punish Crossmaglen following their All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Castlebar Mitchel’s.
The GAA investigated the matter after a number of incidents at the end of the game and the CCCC handed down punishments to the Armagh club, but after a hearing, the CHC ruled in their favour.
A statement today says that “The Central Competitions Control Committee instituted Disciplinary Action against Crossmaglen alleging a breach of 7.2 (d) (3) that is to say “Disruptive Conduct at Games by Players and Team Officials (not causing the Premature Termination of a Game).
‘Crossmaglen requested a Hearing which took place on 23th March. The Central Hearings Committee found the Infraction alleged was not proven and ordered the Disciplinary Action to be at an end.”
