Connacht’s  Robbie Henshaw will have a scan on his injured hand next week.

No exact return date has been given but it's excepted  he could be back by the end of the month.

Connacht will travel to play league leaders Scarlets this Sunday.

Peter Robb, who this week signed a professional contract for next season, Danie Poolman and James Connolly have all been  passed fit and are available to the coaching team this week.

Meanwhile, Denis Buckley, has recovered well from the ankle surgery he underwent in mid-December. He is expected to be available for selection towards the end of this month.

The Connacht team to face Scarlets will be named on Friday.
