Following pitch inspections the following Continental Tyres WNL fixtures scheduled for today have been postponed:

The Continental Tyres WNL fixture between UCD Waves and Castlebar Celtic scheduled to take place tonight at Jackson Park (7.45 pm) has been postponed as the pitch is waterlogged.

The Continental Tyres WNL fixture between Wexford Youths WFC and Galway WFC scheduled to take place today at Ferrycarrig Park (5.30 pm) has been postponed as the pitch is waterlogged.

New dates for the two fixtures will be announced in due course.

Meanwhile, the Continental Tyres WNL fixture between Peamount United and Kilkenny United WFC scheduled to take place tonight at Greenogue (7.00pm) will proceed as scheduled on the all-weather facility.

A pitch inspection will take place later today ahead of tomorrow's Continental Tyres WNL fixture between Cork City Womens FC and Shelbourne LFC.

Also due to the unprecedented number of postponements to the Continental Tyres WNL fixture programme, the WNL Committee discussed the issue at length and agreed to reschedule a number of fixtures as follows:

Sat. 2 January: Galway WFC v Shelbourne LFC, Eamonn Deacy Park (7.30pm)

Sat. 2 January: Wexford Youths WFC v Castlebar Celtic, Ferrycarrig Park (7.30pm)

Sun. 3 January: Cork City WFC v Peamount Utd, Bishopstown Stadium (1.30pm)

Sun. 3 January: UCD Waves v Kilkenny United WFC, Jackson Park (1.30pm)

Weekend ending Sunday, 28th February 2016:

Sat. 27 February: Kilkenny United v Wexford Youths, Buckley Park (2.00pm)

Sat. 27 February: Shelbourne v UCD Waves, Morton Stadium (7.00pm)

Sat. 27 February: Castlebar Celtic v Peamount United, Celtic Park (7.30pm) 

Sat. 27 February: Galway WFC v Cork City WFC, Eamonn Deacy Park (7.30pm)

These fixtures may be moved to Friday, 26th February with the agreement of the away club.
