Connacht have issued a gloomy medical update on their walking wounded ahead of this Friday's European Challenge Cup match against Newcastle.
Last Friday's loss to the Cardiff Blues has proved to be a costly one after Craig Ronaldson, Kieran Marmion, Eoin McKeon, Quinn Roux , Darragh Leader and Ian Porter all suffered injuries during the game.
Ronaldson and Marmion will both have to follow the return-to-play protocols for concussion while Porter is still hopeful of being available this Friday despite an ankle ligament sprain.
However, McKeon, Leader and Roux are all facing lengthy lay-offs while there is also question marks over the availability this week of Bundee Aki , John Muldoon and Ronan Loughney.
