Connacht GAA has announced their squads for this weekend's Interprovincial Championships in football and hurling.
The Connacht football squad, managed by John Tobin, features nine players from Galway, with a strong representation from Kevin Walsh's side that includes the likes of Gary Sice, Fiontán Ó Curraoin and Paul Conroy.
There are six players from Roscommon, four from Mayo, including captain Chris Barrett and Castlebar sharpshooter Neil Douglas, Jason Doherty and Conor O'Shea, three from Sligo and one from Leitrim.
This weekend's football competition will be hosted by Ulster and they face reigning champions Connacht at the Athletic Grounds at 7pm on Saturday. Leinster meet Munster in Páirc Esler in Newry at 4pm earlier that day. The final takes place on Sunday at 2.30pm in the Athletic Grounds.
Meanwhile, Justin Campbell has named his Connacht squad for the Interprovincial Hurling Championship this weekend and bar three players from Roscommon and one from Mayo, it is essentially a Galway squad with the majority of Tribesmen players available.
Cathal Mannion, John Hanbury (exams), Iarla Tannian, Cyril Donnellan (injury), and Jonathan Glynn (travel) are the unavailable Galway players.
Peter Kelleghan, Michael Kelly and Liam Kilcline are the Roscommon men selected while Mayo forward Kenny Feeney is also included.
The Interprovincial Hurling Championship will be hosted by Connacht this year. Ulster face Connacht in the first semi-final on Saturday at 12.30pm in Salthill. The second semi-final sees reigning champions Leinster face Munster at 2pm, also in Salthill. The final, also in Salthill, takes place at 1.30pm on Sunday.
