Athletics Ireland have revised their provisional results of the National Marathon which was incorporated in the Dublin City Marathon held on October 26. Some of the revisions were due to finishers not being officially AAI registered.

Mayo AC is delighted that John Byrne has now been awarded the bronze M40 medal. He finished in 2:37.04, just four weeks after running a marathon PB in Berlin 2:31.26 at the end of September.

It's John's third National medal in 2015, adding to two silver medals in the National Half Marathon in August   one for M40 category, and the other as part of Mayo AC successful M35 team. John will join seventeen club members when their 2015 achievements are recognised at the Mayo County Board Athletics Awards which take place at Breaffy House Hotel on February 7, 2016.
